Flying Rainbow Creative Art Centre helps young children develop their creative ability by providing a structured art curriculum. The kind of customers who love our work are the ones who do not like outdated, stereotype art classes. Our product / service is unique that provides children, recognition of their inner strength and great self confidence to face the future. We provide the children with strong basics which enables them to understand the concepts in great details which will help them to excel in future. Unlike other teaching methods, where children are guided to replicate art works, we offer a structured methodology for the child to learn the basics right, learn the tools and techniques right and thereby create his / her Masterpiece by parallely developing their right brain activity.

The Founder:

Uma Maheswari A is an MBA Graduate and Fine Arts Professional having 23 years of work experience in various industries. She has been an Art & Craft enthusiast since her childhood and has been inquisitive to learn new skills while preserving heritage art forms. She has tested her fingers in many areas such as Drawing, Painting, Craft, Sewing, Puppetry, Teaching, Writing, Psychology, Art Therapy, Digital designing etc and has acquired many credentials in the field of Art including Puppetry. Uma loves exploring various mediums and has displayed her art work in prestigious Galleries like Lalit Kala Akademi, Cholamandal Artists Village Gallery and has received appreciations from eminent artists for her Paintings. She has won many Awards during school days and also during her career for her Art Skills. She was awarded the title ‘Poster Queen of Ford India’ and also won Award from Anna University. She has designed Rangoli books at the age of 15 and has got numerous innovative Rangolis published in top magazines like Kumudham Snehidhi, Mangayar Malar and Gnana Alayam and won Awards. She has conducted many Art & Craft Workshops, Puppet shows for children and Adults.

Uma has developed many learning programmes and has designed course contents and course materials that are implemented successfully.

Apart from launching Flying Rainbow, Uma practices Human Resources and has worked with Children closely in her early career and shifted to Human Resources. She has handled key roles in the areas of Learning & Development, Recruitment, Employee Benefits, Business Operations, Rewards & Recognition, Employee Engagement & Compliance. Having connected with the World’s best Automaker, Uma has travelled across the country and abroad and learnt to work with a diverse group of people. She has worked for various sectors within the organisation and is sensible about how creativity plays a major role in Corporate and Business Scenarios. She has implemented various initiatives in the organization to develop creativity, including Craft Clubs, Employee Talent Hunt, Cultural programmes, Awareness weeks, Internal magazines, etc.

Her goal is to reach Art to children and help children and parents realise the impact of Art in nurturing the innerself and enhancing our everyday life to a shade better!
